Falcons release depth chart with several changes to starting lineup

The Falcons have released their depth chart ahead of the upcoming matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.

Atlanta will be without two key starters for the remainder or the season as cornerback Desmond Trufant and Calvin Ridley have been placed on injured reserve.

With the loss of Ridley and Trufant, there has been a few changes made to the depth chart.

The Falcons (4-9) have also shuffled their offensive line around with the return of Chris Lindstrom who played his first game vs. the Panthers since Week 1 when he suffered a foot injury. Wes Schweitzer has replaced Jamon Brown and James Carpenter as Atlanta's starting guard option opposite of Lindstrom.

The Falcons acquired Brown and Carpenter in free agency this spring hoping to shore up the interior of the offensive line.

Defensively, rookie Kendall Sheffield will start in place of Trufant. Sheffield has seen significant playing time since early October at the nickel cornerback spot.
