Mattress Firm provides movie night to children at Mercedes-Benz Stadium
The Atlanta Falcons partnered with Mattress Firm to surprise 25 children in need with a movie night at Mercedes-Benz Stadium complete with beds on the field for a premium viewing experience. The kids were also treated to bicycles and toys from Santa as well as visits from Falcons players and cheerleaders.

Head coach Dan Quinn and the Atlanta Falcons invited 94 families in the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) to Mercedes-Benz Stadium where they received custom, military themed jerseys honoring their loved ones. Steve Cannon, Chief Executive Officer of the AMB Group, was named the Atlanta Falcons 2019 Salute to Service Award nominee. The Falcons have won the award, which recognizes support for the military community, for three straight years with Ben Garland (2018), Andre Roberts (2017) and head coach Dan Quinn (2016).
Falcons 'Huddle for 100' at North Georgia food bank
Atlanta Falcons fans contributed to the Huddle for 100 initiative by volunteering for 100 minutes at a food bank in North Georgia alongside Atlanta Falcons players, Cheerleaders and Freddie Falcon. The group sorted food that will be distributed to families in need. In honor of its 100th season, the NFL is inviting fans to partner with them, the players, and the teams in Huddle for 100.

Atlanta Falcons players and legends honored 8 individuals from Georgia who have survived or are currently battling various types of cancer at the First Down for Fighters event, presented by Grady Health. The evening was spent in the team's locker room where guests were surprised with tickets to the upcoming game against the Rams.

Dan Quinn invites future honorary captain to join team huddle
Monday morning head coach Dan Quinn had more than one surprise for D'Eric Salder, a 10-year-old who lost his leg due to complications at birth. Salder, who was invited to be the honorary captain at the upcoming game against the Redskins, was surprised by Quinn with a custom jersey and invited into the team huddle at the end of practice. Quinn announced that Salder is officially an Atlanta Falcon.

WR Julio Jones was the first to invite 10-year-old D'Eric Salder to be an honorary captain at the Falcons' upcoming game against the Washington Redskins. QB Matt Ryan confirmed the good news shortly after. Several other players and head coach Dan Quinn took time to meet Salder, who lost his leg due to complications at birth and dreams of playing football.

WR Julio Jones surprised 8-year-old Dylan with autographs and gifts before the Falcons last preseason game. After a long battle with leukemia, Dylan finished treatment in February of this year. Dylan came from Kentucky to meet Julio through Make-A-Wish.
