The Atlanta Falcons and Orangetheory Fitness celebrated Nurse Appreciation Day by spending time with nurses at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta – Egleston. Legends Bryan Scott and Jerious Norwood, Freddie Falcon and Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders joined in on the celebration.

Freddie Falcon partnered with Georgia Power to road trip across the state, surprising 20 Atlanta Falcons Season Ticket Members and 10 Georgia Power Linemen at their homes with a socially distanced visit and curbside delivery. During the delivery, fans received Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Power themed items as well as a $100 Visa gift card. These visits took place Thursday, April 8 through Sunday, April 11.
2020 Georgia Girls High School Flag Football Semi-Finals
In its first season as a sanctioned high school sport in the state of Georgia, the Atlanta Falcons hosted the Georgia High School Girls Flag Football Semi-Finals at The Home Depot Backyard. Eight high school girls flag football teams competed for a chance to continue to the state championship.
Westside Falcons Flag Football League 2020 Modified Season
The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation sponsored the Westside Falcons NFL FLAG Football League for the fifth consecutive season for youth from the Westside of Atlanta to play in the league at no cost. The season was modified to fit COVID-19 guidelines and also included 17 Blank Family of Businesses associates who served as volunteer coaches and referees.

Rookies surprise Children's patients for Hometown Huddle | Happy Halloween
Falcons Rookies took part in a virtual Halloween-themed hospital visit to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston this week using OhmniLabs' Ohmni Telepresence Robots, sponsored by AT&T. Falcons rookies dressed in Halloween costumes as the robots traveled from room to room to visit patients at Children's Health Care of Atlanta.
First Down for Fighters
In honor of Crucial Catch during the month of October, the Atlanta Falcons hosted eight cancer fighters and survivors to First Down for Fighters presented by Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. Honorees were treated to a virtual painting activity, socially distanced homegating deliveries from Freddie Falcon and were recognized during the Carolina Panthers vs. Atlanta Falcons game through pre-recorded videos.

Freddie Falcon sent his annual Mother's Day Freddie-Gram deliveries presented by Coke and Publix specifically to women working on the frontlines during the current pandemic. Freddie stuck to social-distancing by interacting with the ladies virtually.
Mattress Firm provides movie night to children at Mercedes-Benz Stadium
The Atlanta Falcons partnered with Mattress Firm to surprise 25 children in need with a movie night at Mercedes-Benz Stadium complete with beds on the field for a premium viewing experience. The kids were also treated to bicycles and toys from Santa as well as visits from Falcons players and cheerleaders.

Several current Atlanta Falcons players took an opportunity to thank their former coaches by inviting them to Atlanta for the weekend. The players wrote letters thanking the coaches for everything they did for them and visited with them after the team's walk-through.

Steve Cannon, Chief Executive Officer of the AMB Group, was named the Atlanta Falcons 2019 Salute to Service Award nominee. The Falcons have won the award, which recognizes support for the military community, for three straight years with Ben Garland (2018), Andre Roberts (2017) and head coach Dan Quinn (2016).
Falcons 'Huddle for 100' at North Georgia food bank
Atlanta Falcons fans contributed to the Huddle for 100 initiative by volunteering for 100 minutes at a food bank in North Georgia alongside Atlanta Falcons players, Cheerleaders and Freddie Falcon. The group sorted food that will be distributed to families in need. In honor of its 100th season, the NFL is inviting fans to partner with them, the players, and the teams in Huddle for 100.

Dan Quinn invites future honorary captain to join team huddle
Monday morning head coach Dan Quinn had more than one surprise for D'Eric Salder, a 10-year-old who lost his leg due to complications at birth. Salder, who was invited to be the honorary captain at the upcoming game against the Redskins, was surprised by Quinn with a custom jersey and invited into the team huddle at the end of practice. Quinn announced that Salder is officially an Atlanta Falcon.

WR Julio Jones was the first to invite 10-year-old D'Eric Salder to be an honorary captain at the Falcons' upcoming game against the Washington Redskins. QB Matt Ryan confirmed the good news shortly after. Several other players and head coach Dan Quinn took time to meet Salder, who lost his leg due to complications at birth and dreams of playing football.
