Was an all-conference first-team selection in the American Athletic Conference in 2017 after posting 66 total tackles, including 10.5 tackles for loss, and six sacks. His 66 tackles ranked second on the team, and he recorded 59 tackles in his final eight games – 7.4 tackles per game. Selected to play in the East-West Shrine Game.
