Biography

CAREER

  • Played in six games (one start) his rookie season, posting 26 tackles (15 solo), two quarterback hits, two passes defensed, one tackle for loss, one interception and one forced fumble, before missing the rest of the season due to injury.
  • Recorded the first full sack of his career, bringing his career total to 1.5. He finished the Week 11 game with four tackles, all solo stops.
  • Notched three solo tackles and a forced a fumble in Week 4.
  • Logged the Falcons' first takeaway of the season with an interception with 2:12 remaining in the first half of the Week 2 contest. He also notched four tackles (two solo) in the win.
  • Made his first career start in Week 1 and recorded 0.5 sack.

COLLEGE

  • Appeared in 47 games (41 starts) in four seasons at Oklahoma, totaling 199 tackles (122 solo), 11 interceptions and two forced fumbles.

PERSONAL

  • Attended Ryan HS in Denton, Texas
  • Earned second-team All-America honors as an all-purpose player, logging 86 receptions as a senior for 1,207 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also played running back, rushing for 158 yards and four touchdowns off of 26 attempts. At defensive back, Bowman Jr. recorded 32 tackles, four interceptions, six passes defensed and two forced fumbles.
  • Helped Ryan to a 15-0 record and Class 5A Division I State Championship.
