CAREER

• Played in 33 games (25 starts) completing 530-of-830 passes (63.9 percent) for 5,745 yards, 34 touchdowns and 24 interceptions for an 85.7 passer rating for the Texans, Panthers and Commanders.
• Started nine games for the Commanders in 2022, completing 161-of-259 passes (62.2 percent) for 1,859 yards, 12 touchdowns and six interceptions for an 89.6 passer rating. He also added 96 rushing yards on 28 carries and a touchdown on the ground.
• In 2021, he played in 16 games (15 starts), completing 321-of-494 passes (65.0 percent) for 3,419 yards, 20 touchdowns and 15 interceptions for an 85.9 passer rating. He also added 60 rushes for 313 yards and a touchdown on the ground for the Commanders.
• In 2019, started the NFC Wild Card game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, completing 26-of-44 attempts for 306 yards, one touchdown and one interception while also adding 46 rushing yards on six carries and a touchdown for the Commanders.
• Played in six games (one start) for the Carolina Panthers in 2018.
• Signed by the Minnesota Vikings in 2015 and made his NFL debut with the Houston Texans in 2017.

COLLEGE

• Played four season (2011-14) at Old Dominion in Norfolk, VA.
• In 46 games at Old Dominion, he completed 1,238-of-1,829 passes for 14,959 yards, 132 touchdowns, and 39 interceptions over four seasons. He rushed for 2,026 yards on 367 carries with 22 touchdowns on the ground.
• Ranks third all-time in FBS history with 16,279 yards of total offense. Fourth in FBS history with 132 career touchdowns and 14,959 passing yards in sixth most in FBS history.
• Heinicke had five games of 300-or-more yards passing, including a pair of 400-yard games.
• In 2014, Heinicke completed 289-of-257 passes for 3,476 yards and 30 touchdowns while adding 139 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
• Named C-USA Offensive Player of the Week in 2014.
• In 2013, Heinicke became the 18th quarterback in Division I history to pass for 10,000 yards and rush for 1,000. He completed 340-of-486 passes for 4,022 yards and 33 touchdowns, while rushing 93 times for 348 yards and five touchdowns.
• The 6-foot-1, 210-pound quarterback was named the Walter Payton Award recipient (best player in the FCS), First-Team AP All-American, CAA Offensive Player of the Year, the Sports Network First-Team All-American, Walter Camp All-American, Phil Steele First-Team All-American, and Touchdown Club of Columbus Player of the Year in 2012.
• In 2012, he broke Steve McNair's 18-year-old FCS single-season passing yards record with 5,076 and set the FCS record with 398 completions. He went on to lead the country in passing yards (5,076), completions (398), passing touchdowns (44) and total touchdowns (55).
• He finished his freshman campaign in 2011 completing 211-of-307 passes for 2,385 yards and 25 touchdowns and one interception.
• Named College Football Performance Awards National Performer of the Year, CFPA Freshman Performer of the Year, CFPA Quarterback Award recipient, runner-up for the Jerry Rice Award by The Sports Network, awarded to the National Freshman of the Year, named to the Sports Journal All-Freshman Team, third Team All-CAA honoree, two-time National Freshman of the Week by The Sports Network and three-time CAA Rookie of the Week. in 2011.

• Set Gwinnett County single-season records for passing yards (4,218 yards) and touchdowns (44). His passing yards ranks second in Georgia state history, while his 44 touchdowns rank third in state history.
• Completed 67% of his passes (284-of-426). Threw over 300 yards in nine games and ran for 354 yards on 77 carried along with a pair of touchdowns.
• Son of Diane Dodsworth and the late Brett Heinicke and has one sister, Lauren.
