Lukas Denis

CAREER

• In 2023, Denis spent time with the St. Louis Battlehawks of the XFL, appearing in 10 games notching 37 total tackles (16 solo), two interceptions, two tackles for loss and 1.0 sack. 

COLLEGE

• Played four seasons (2015-18) at Boston College in Newton, Mass.
• In 40 games at Boston College and posted 139 total tackles (82 solo), 25 passes defensed, nine interceptions (second in program history), three forced fumbles, one tackle for loss and 0.5 sack for the Eagles.
• As a senior in 2018, he appeared in 12 games recording 49 total tackles (31 solo), three passes defensed, one interception, one forced fumble, 0.5 sack and a 0.5 tackle for loss.
• In 2017, he played in all 13 games, totaling single-season career-highs in tackles (83), passes defensed (17), interceptions (seven) and forced fumbles (two) while adding a 0.5 tackle for loss.
• Named second-team All-ACC in 2017 and tied for second nationally with seven interceptions.
• As a sophomore in 2016, he notched seven total tackles for loss (five solo), five passes defensed and one interception. 

PERSONAL

• Attended Everett (Mass.) High School.
• Named ESPN Boston's 2014 Defensive Player of the Year and Massachusetts Prep Stars Defensive Player of the Year.
• Earned ESPN Boston's All-State honors and was named to the Massachusetts Football Coaches Association's Super 26 Team and the Boston Herald's "Dandy Dozen".
• Garnered Boston Herald All-Scholastic honors as a senior.
• Recorded 52 tackles, two forced fumbles, eight interceptions, including three returned for touchdowns, and 13 pass breakups in 2014. Also scored 17 touchdowns on offense.
• Tallied 32 tackles and one interception as a junior.
• Son of Ketlie Denis and has an older brother, Dimitris.
