The two stars were limited in practice all throughout the week after missing the Falcons' game against the New Orleans Saints on Thanksgiving night, but their return will certainly be welcome. Jones missed just one game after suffering a shoulder injury in Week 12 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he caught six passes for 91 yards in Atlanta's first meeting with Carolina this season. Hooper missed three games after injuring his knee against the Saints in Week 10, but he was among the most productive tight ends in the NFL prior to his injury and has emerged as a true weapon for the Falcons' offense.

In addition to the news about Jones and Hooper, Quinn announced that offensive linemen Ty Sambrailo (hamstring) and James Carpenter (concussion) have been ruled out for Sunday's game. Punter Matt Bosher and safety Sharrod Neasman have also been listed on the team's injury report as questionable against the Panthers.
