Dan Quinn rules out seven Falcons players ahead of Redskins game

In addition to Julio Jones and Deion Jones, Falcons coach Dan Quinn listed five other players who will not see action on Thursday night when the Falcons host the Washington Redskins.

Damontae Kazee, Russell Gage, Kaleb McGary, Foye Oluokun and Kendall Sheffield will all be sidelined at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Gage, Kazee and Sheffield all suffered injuries last week against the Jets and have been unable to practice since. Neither of the Joneses has yet to play this preseason.

McGary, one of Atlanta's first-round draft picks, was able to practice in a limited fashion this week after undergoing a cardiac ablation procedure during training camp.

Quinn said they will stay "strict" to the policy they have in place for McGary's return to full participation.

Oluokun has missed Atlanta's previous two preseason games with an oblique strain.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Thursday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
