The Atlanta Falcons have agreed to terms with veteran cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson on a one-year contract.

Wreh-Wilson, 30, is a familiar face for the Falcons and has been with the team since the 2016 season. He's only started three games during that time, but Wreh-Wilson is a trusted backup on Atlanta's defense who has fared well when called into action. During his time with the Falcons, Wreh-Wilson has recorded 33 tackles and 10 passes defensed.

Atlanta's secondary has undergone a transformation in recent years, and that continues this offseason with the release of top cornerback Desmond Trufant. Wreh-Wilson played 335 snaps on defense last season, by far the most in his time with the Falcons, and it's possible new defensive coordinator Raheem Morris has an increased role in mind for him.

The Falcons now have four cornerbacks on their roster with Wreh-Wilson joining Isaiah Oliver, Kendall Sheffield and Jordan Miller, who will be suspended for the first three games of the season.
