FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – The Falcons have announced they waived rookie running back Demario Richard and signed running back Terrence Magee.
Magee, 25, was signed by the Falcons midway through last season and appeared in two games for Atlanta while also spending time on the practice squad. In this three years in the NFL, Magee has five carries for 17 yards and one reception for two yards.
Richard was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Falcons out of Arizona State after April's draft. In four seasons at Arizona State, Richard had 647 carries for 3,202 yards and 26 touchdowns while also catching the ball 69 times for 662 yards and seven touchdowns.
