The Atlanta Falcons waived quarterback Danny Etling and cornerback D.J. White on Monday afternoon. The team did not announce any corresponding moves at this time.

Etling was signed to the Falcons' active roster on Saturday ahead of the loss against the Seahawks and served as the team's backup quarterback behind Matt Schaub with Matt Ryan sidelined due to an ankle injury. Etling joined the Falcons during the preseason and has been on the practice squad throughout the first half of the season.

The Falcons signed White off of the Philadelphia Eagles' practice squad in Week 6 following the news that starting cornerback Desmond Trufant had sustained a toe injury against the Houston Texans. White has appeared in one game with the Falcons.
