FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Falcons announced Wednesday that they have signed cornerback Prince Charles Iworah to the practice squad.

Iworah, 25, was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft. The 5-foot-11, 193-pound corner spent his first season on the 49ers' practice squad, but he was activated for one game during his rookie year. San Francisco waived Iworah in 2017, and he then spent portions of this offseason with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Washington Redskins.

Iworah played four seasons at Western Kentucky where he recorded 90 tackles, 15 pass defenses, five interceptions and one forced fumble.
