Falcons sign five players to reserve/future contracts

The Atlanta Falcons announced Monday the signing of five players to reserve/future contracts.

The five players the Falcons have signed are quarterback Danny Etling, offensive lineman Lukayus McNeil, tight end Carson Meier, defensive back CJ Reavis and running back Craig Reynolds, keeping those players in the fold for the upcoming season. A reserve/futures contract keeps a player tied to a team, but the contract does not go into effect until the start of the new league year in 2020.

All five of those players ended the 2019 season on the Falcons' practice squad, and the coaching staff will get the opportunity to evaluate them once again next season.
