Among NFC tight ends, Hooper ranked third in receptions and receiving yards trailing only Zach Ertz and George Kittle. He was the most sure-handed tight end in the NFL, catching 80.7 percent of the 88 passes thrown his way – the highest catch rate of any tight end with more than 26 targets.

Hooper joins Julio Jones and Alex Mack as 2018 Pro Bowlers and is the first Falcons tight end to be named to the Pro Bowl since Tony Gonzalez in 2013. He is the fifth tight end to earn Pro Bowl honors in club history, joining Gonzalez (4), Alge Crumpler (4), Junior Miller (2), and Jim Mitchell (2).
