FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Falcons have officially ruled out defensive tackle Grady Jarrett, running back Devonta Freeman and defensive end Derrick Shelby for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Jarrett will miss his second straight game due to an ankle injury, but coach Dan Quinn said Thursday he was "making a big improvement". Freeman played against the Steelers after missing three weeks due to a knee injury, but he injured his foot in the team's loss and will miss his fourth game of the season. Shelby will miss his fourth straight game due to a groin injury he suffered against the Panthers, but he was listed as a limited participant in practice this week.
