INDIANAPOLIS — The Atlanta Falcons have signed defensive tackle Eric Johnson II.
The 6-foot-4, 320 pound tackle reunites with current Falcons defensive line coach, Nate Ollie. The two first crossed paths in 2022 when Johnson was taken in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts where Ollie had just been hired as the defensive line coach.
Both men spent the 2022 and 2023 season together in Indianapolis.
Since then, Johnson has spent time with the New England Patriots, a second stint with the Colts and, most recently, has spent the offseason with the Minnesota Vikings.
Across four NFL seasons, Johnson has seen action in 51 games. He has made 41 total tackles and has one sack.
