The News, Now
Key developments on the field and roster move analysis
The main piece of news this holiday week involved the selection of Bijan Robinson to his second Pro Bowl Games and Chris Lindstrom to his fourth.
"Bijan Robinson is absolutely a phenomenal player," Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said last Sunday. "I've been calling him the best player in football all year. Arguably I got a lot of love for that guy and what he brings to a football team, not just as a player but as a human on the field and off the field. Everything that we ask from our players and what a Falcon looks like is Bijan Robinson."

Morris on Lindstrom: "There were weeks that (Lindstrom) couldn't quite practice full and do all the things that he's capable of doing during a practice week, and he did everything for his football team to go out there and play and finish these games and play these games. And he continues to do it. The mentality, the tough guy, the attitude, the swagger — everything that you talk about from being an offensive lineman and a leader and a captain for our football team, he's exemplified that at a very high level."

Kyle Pitts and A.J. Terrell were selected as alternates, too.
As for roster adjustments, the Falcons opened up Clark Phillips III and Sam Roberts' 21-day window to return from injured reserve this week.

Behind-the-scenes stories, locker room insight into team culture
According to reporting by Terrin Waack this week, one of the many lessons Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris took away from his time with the Los Angeles Rams was the impact their "We, Not Me" philosophy had on the team's success. That selfless and collaborative mindset permeated across all departments at the facility, he thought. And it started with Rams head coach Sean McVay.
Monday night's prime-time game between the Falcons and Rams in Atlanta has given Morris the opportunity to reflect on that lesson and his time in Los Angeles before McVay comes to town.
"Obviously, (I have) respect for Sean and all the stuff that he's done out there," Morris said. "And it's hard to say Sean. I think it's so well-rounded. You're talking about Les (Snead). You're talking about Tony (Pastoors). You're talking about ownership. You're talking about Reggie Scott. You're talking about all-hands-on-deck mentality with when it comes to all those things."

Stats and milestones brought to you by StatsPerform:
- The Falcons are 3-1 in prime-time games this season, a fourth prime-time win against the Rams would tie their most such wins in a single season all-time (2012, 2017).
- The Falcons recorded their 50th sack of the season in their last game against the Cardinals last Sunday, one of two teams to record at least 50 sacks this season (Broncos – 63). This is just the second time Atlanta has recorded 50 sacks in a single season (1997 – 55).
- Kyle Pitts has recorded 395 receiving yards over his last four games, the most receiving yards by a Falcons tight end over a four-game span all-time. Pitts' four receiving touchdowns over his last two games are tied for the most by any Falcons tight end in a two-game span all-time (Alge Crumpler – October 22, 2006 – October 29, 2006).
