FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Falcons announced Thursday that three additional players will be held out of Saturday's preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Safety Ricardo Allen, receiver Marvin Hall and linebacker Deion Jones will join Devonta Freeman, Ben Garland and Julio Jones as the six players who have already been declared out for the third preseason game. Garland and Deion Jones are both dealing with strains, while the injuries to Allen and Hall were undisclosed. On Tuesday, Falcons head coach Dan Quinn explained Freeman and Julio Jones were being held out as a coach's decision and it was unlikely they would play at all this preseason.
In addition to announcing the players who would be held out of Saturday's game, the Falcons said kicker Matt Bryant and cornerback Desmond Trufant would be game-time decisions.
The Falcons will play the Jaguars at EverBank Field this Saturday, kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET.
