Falcons injuries: Dan Quinn provides updates on Grady Jarrett, Ito Smith

The Falcons will be without Keanu Neal for the rest of the year as he suffered an Achilles injury in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Colts. Falcons coach Dan Quinn confirmed they'll be without Neal's services for the remainder of the season and provided updates on a few other notable players on Monday.

Grady Jarrett (toe) is expected to be back by the end of the week which is positive news for the Falcons.

Running backs Kenjon Barner and Ito Smith are both in the league's concussion protocol. Their status for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans is questionable at this point.

If Barner and Smith are unable to play this week, the Falcons will rely on Brian Hill and Qadree Ollison to step up against the Titans (1-2).

The first official injury report will be released on Wednesday when the Falcons resume practice.
