Falcons agree to terms with former XFL linebacker

The Atlanta Falcons have agreed to terms with former XFL linebacker Edmond Robinson on a one-year deal.

Robinson, 28, spent one season with the Houston Roughnecks, who were a perfect 5-0 and the only undefeated team in the XFL in 2020. In those five games, Robinson had 22 tackles, two sacks and one forced fumble.

Robinson was originally drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He appeared in 21 games during his two seasons with the Vikings and made two starts. During his three-year NFL career, which also included one season with the New York Jets, Robinson recorded 13 tackles and one pass defense.
