Tabeek's NFL Power Rankings: Top five remain intact, Falcons slide

0921_Tabeek-power

That's a wrap on Week 3 of the NFL season, and we're starting to figure out the identities of a lot of these teams.

When it comes to the unbeatens, the Patriots, Chiefs, Rams, Cowboys and Packers are looking more and more like legitimate contenders. Now, as far as the 49ers, Bills and Lions are concerned, well, I'm not buying it. Not yet, anyway. I need to see more.

The top five teams in this week's Wildly Important NFL Power Rankings remain the same. The biggest difference in the top 10, however, is that the Bears are back – jumping from the 18 spot all the way up to 10th – while the Seahawks take a tumble, down No. 6 to 11th.

When it comes to the Falcons, well, we're still in a holding pattern.

A week after moving up to the 12th spot, the Falcons fall back to No. 16 after coming up short in Indianapolis on Sunday. Atlanta, however, find a nice groove in its offense during the second half and Falcons fans can only hope it's a sign of things to come. What they don't want to see anymore is the color yellow, as in penalty flags. The Dirty Birds have been flagged 35 times in their first three games.

So, without further ado, it's time for the Week 4 edition of my power rankings. Enjoy.
