FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Sunday will mark the 15th meeting between the Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins.
The Dolphins hold a 9-5 lead over the Falcons. However, the Falcons (3-3) have a better record in 2025 than the Dolphins (1-6) entering the Week 8 contest.
Atlanta also ranks higher in multiple statistical categories compared to Miami, including total yards per game, rushing yards per game, passing yards per game and the defensive equivalent of each. The only category Miami ranks better in is offensive points per game, but Atlanta's defense has been more effective at preventing points on average.
The last time these two teams played each other was in Week 7 of the 2021 season, when the Falcons defeated the Dolphins, 30-28, at Hard Rock Stadium.
