The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have signed cornerback Brent Grimes to a one-year contract.
Grimes, 5-10, 183 pounds, was originally signed as a college free agent by the Falcons in 2006. He earned his first Pro Bowl selection in 2010 after starting all 16 games and posting a franchise-record 23 passes defensed. The Shippensburg product also notched a career-best 82 tackles (72 solo) and tied for the team lead with five interceptions.
