Starting cornerback Robert Alford was designated as a limited participant in practice, one of four Falcons players who earned such a designation. Two players sat out Wednesday's practice for the Falcons, kicker Matt Bryant, who is recovering from a hamstring injury, and receiver Mohamed Sanu, who has battled through a hip injury.
