With a noticeable limp, Ridley began to walk around, his hand never leaving his hamstring. After a short time the horn sounded to declare the end of a practice period, and Ridley was then met by trainers who began to test his hamstring.

Ridley appeared eager to resume practicing, and he did ultimately run one more route after he initially began showing interest in his hamstring.

Coach Dan Quinn didn't appear too concerned about Ridley's health following practice, saying the receiver had a tight hamstring but that he expected him back for the next four-day block of practices, which begin Saturday.

"He had a tight hamstring," Quinn said. "He looked good, but we didn't want, at this space, guys are really pushing to make anything where it could go longer, so I expect him to be back on the next turn through."

Ridley is coming off of a record-setting rookie season. In 2018, he led all rookie receivers with 64 catches for 821 yards and 10 touchdowns, the most by any first-year player in Falcons history. With Ridley emerging alongside Julio Jones and Mohamed Sanu, the Falcons have one of the best receiver trios in the NFL.

The Atlanta Falcons continued grinding for their second practice in shoulder pads. Take a look at the best images from Day 4 here.
