ATLANTA -- Calvin Ridley wasn't a factor in the Falcons' first game of the season, but he certainly was in the first half of his home debut.

The team's first-round draft pick led all Falcons receivers with three catches for 42 yards, and his first career NFL touchdown was also the first touchdown of the game for Atlanta.

Ridley's 11-yard touchdown came on a slant route against man coverage, highlighting his ability to shake defenders with polished route-running.

"Yeah, he's going to be a part of what we do as we move forward," Matt Ryan said of Ridley this week. "The ball is going to find him throughout the year and he's going to do a great job for us."
