FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons have signed free agent running back Tyler Goodson.
A native of Suwanee, Georgia, Goodson attended North Gwinnett High School and now returns to his home state to continue his professional career in a backfield that also contains Bijan Robinson.

After gaining more than 3,000 scrimmage yards during his three-year career at the University of Iowa, Goodson was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent after the 2022 NFL Draft. The 5-foot-9, 197-pound back spent his first year in the league on the Packers' practice squad before joining the Indianapolis Colts in 2023.
Goodson has appeared in 33 games for the Colts over the last three seasons with one start. He has gained 376 yards from scrimmage, including 264 on the ground, and scored two touchdowns.
