FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons activated defensive lineman Ta'Quon Graham from injured reserve and placed cornerback Clark Phillips III on injured reserve.
These moves come the Saturday before the Falcons' play the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium in a "Sunday Night Football" matchup for Week 7.
The Falcons opened Graham's 21-day window back on Oct. 7 during Week 6. He originally injured his calf on Aug. 12 during a training camp practice. At the time, Morris didn't think it was something significant. When the Falcons' initial roster came out weeks later, however, Graham was noticeably on injured reserve with a designation to return.
Phillips first appeared on a Falcons injury report in Week 6 and was inactive when the Falcons beat the Buffalo Bills. The issue is his triceps. He did not participate in practice at all in Week 7 because of that and an illness.
Phillips has played in one game for the Falcons this season – the Week 4 win against the Washington Commanders. He made one tackle.
The Falcons-49ers game is scheduled for Sunday at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.
