Snelling Agrees to Terms

The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have agreed to terms with free agent running back Jason Snelling.

Snelling, 5-11, 234 pounds, was originally selected in the seventh round (244th overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft. The University of Virginia product has totaled 256 carries for 1,041 yards with seven rushing touchdowns. He has added 82 receptions for 648 yards and four receiving touchdowns in four seasons with the Falcons. In 2010, he competed in 14 games totaling 87 carries for 324 yards with two touchdowns while adding 44 receptions for 303 yards and three scores. Snelling was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week after posting a career-high 186 all-purpose yards with two rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals on 9/19/10.
