Nicholas Agrees to Terms

The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have agreed to terms with linebacker Stephen Nicholason a five-year contract.

Nicholas, 6-foot-3, 236 pounds, was originally selected as a fourth round pick (109th overall) in the 2007 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons. In four seasons with the Falcons, he has totaled 215 tackles (156 solo), five sacks, one interception, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and six passes defensed. Nicholas is coming off of a career year in 2010, playing in every game with 11 starts and totaling a career-high 87 tackles (61 solo), one interception, and two passes defensed.
