FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — It's the battle of the birds as the Falcons take on the Seahawks in Week 7 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
The Falcons (4-2) look to reach their highest win streak since 2019 with a victory on Sunday, which would be their fourth in a row. Atlanta cleared a divisional stretch with three straight wins against NFC South opponents.
The Seahawks (3-3), however, are on a three-game losing streak and hope to stop the bleeding. After starting the season 3-0, Seattle hit a rough patch while facing some tough opponents, including the Detroit Lions and San Francisco 49ers.
Seattle leads the league with 276.7 passing yards per game while the Falcons currently rank No. 6 with 254.7 yards. The Seahawks rank bottom-five in rushing yards per game, however, and while the Falcons aren't much higher (No. 21), they did have their largest rushing output in their last outing with 198 yards on the ground.
Last week, the pool of experts unanimously (and correctly) picked the Falcons over the Carolina Panthers. This week, the consensus is split down the middle.
