FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – The NFL Network is currently unveiling its list of the top 100 players of 2018 – voted on by the players, themselves – and Matt Ryan became the second Falcons player to make the list.

Ryan appeared at No. 29 on the list, joining Falcons running back Devonta Freeman, who was named the 70th-best player in the league by his peer. This marks the second straight season Ryan has been among the top 30 players in the league after he claimed the No. 10 spot in 2017. It's the fifth appearance on the list for Ryan, who also appeared at No. 77 in 2015, No. 17 in 2013 and No. 52 in 2011.

After an MVP season in 2016, Ryan put together another strong campaign for the Falcons last fall. He completed 64.7 percent of his passes for 4,095 yards with 20 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Ryan led the Falcons to a playoff win on the road against the Los Angeles Rams and completed 65.2 percent of his passes for 428 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in Atlanta's two postseason games.

The NFL Network will unveil the top 20 players on the list over the next two Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET.
