Key dates to know for Falcons' 2020 offseason  

The Atlanta Falcons' offseason is underway.

After finishing 7-9 and taking second in the NFC South, the Falcons own the No. 16 pick in the NFL Draft this year. Over the next few months, Falcons coach Dan Quinn and general manager Thomas Dimitroff will re-evaluate the roster and attack a number of areas where the they feel the team fell short in during the 2019 season.

Here's a look at some of the key dates and events to know about for the offseason:

January

Senior Bowl: Jan. 25 – Ladd-Peebles Stadium, Mobile, Ala.

Pro Bowl: Jan. 26 – Camping World Stadium, Orlando, Fla.

February

Super Bowl LIV Feb. 2 – Hard Rock Stadium, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

NFL Combine: Feb.24 – March 2 – Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis

March

Free agency negotiation period begins: March 16-18

New league year starts: March 18

Owners meetings: March 29-April 1 in Palm Beach, Fla.

April

Offseason workout program begins: April 20

NFL Draft: April 23-25
