FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- After turning in the best season of his three-year career, Falcons tight end Austin Hooper will be attending the 2019 Pro Bowl.

Hooper, who was named as an alternate when the Pro Bowl rosters were first announced, will replaced Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz as a representative.

In his third season with the Falcons, the former third-round draft pick set new career highs with 71 receptions for 660 yards and four touchdowns in 2018.

Hooper was named an alternate for the Pro Bowl with fellow Falcons Justin Bethel and Damontae Kazee. Julio Jones and Alex Mack were the two Falcons players named to Pro Bowl rosters when they were first announced in December.

The 2019 Pro Bowl will be held at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla. on Sunday, Jan. 27 at 3 p.m. ET.
