Falcons stars Julio Jones, Alex Mack named to 2019 Pro Bowl

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones have and center Alex Mack have had exceptional seasons on the field in 2018, and they've been rewarded for their success with an invitation to the 2019 Pro Bowl.

Jones has been named a Pro Bowler for the sixth time in his eight-year career and for the fifth consecutive season. This season, Jones has caught 100 passes for 1,511 yards and six touchdowns. He became the first player in NFL history with five consecutive seasons of over 1,400 receiving yards and is the fourth receiver in the league's history to have three seasons with 100 receptions and 1,500 receiving yards.

Jones is on pace to catch 114 passes for 1,727 yards and seven touchdowns, which would equate to the second-best season of his career. He was also named to the Pro Bowl in 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Like Jones, Mack has been named to the Pro Bowl for the sixth time and the fourth consecutive season, including all three seasons he's been in Atlanta.

Mack has started all 14 games this season for the Falcons, and he's started every game for the team since arriving in Atlanta in 2016.

The 2019 Pro Bowl will take place in Camping World Stadium in Orlando on Sunday, Jan. 27 at 3 p.m. ET. This year's captains for the Pro Bowl are Jim Kelly, Emmitt Smith, Brian Urlacher and Demarcus Ware.
