TAMPA, Fla. — The Atlanta Falcons will be without one of their offensive position coaches for Thursday night's Week 15 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The team released a statement Thursday morning:
"Atlanta Falcons running backs coach Michael Pitre will miss tonight's game due to a personal matter. Offensive assistants K.J. Black and Patrick Kramer will fill his role for tonight's game."
Pitre has been with the Falcons in his current role since 2022 and leads a position group that includes running backs Bijan Robinson, Tyler Allgeier and Nathan Carter.
Black and Kramer are offensive assistants. Black joined the organization in 2024. Kramer has been part of the staff since 2021, serving first as an analyst for two seasons before becoming an assistant.
Atlanta's rushing offense currently ranks 12th in the NFL with 123.6 yards per game.
The Falcons-Buccaneers rematch is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET at Raymond James Stadium and can be viewed on "TNF on Prime Video."
