Falcons injury report: Kyle Pitts limited as prep for Panthers continues

Plus, a positive update on James Pearce Jr.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons tight ends participation in Thursday's practice was a bit more scarce than it has been so far in 2025. For the second day in a row, the Falcons were without Charlie Woerner, who is working through an ankle injury.

Meanwhile, fellow tight end Kyle Pitts popped up on the Falcons' injury report with a toe issue. He was listed as limited. The full extent of Pitts' and Woerner's status will be updated Friday afternoon when Atlanta releases its official game report.

The Falcons did report progress from wide receiver Casey Washington (concussion) and rookie edge rusher James Pearce Jr. (groin). Pearce did not participate in Wednesday's practice but was elevated to limited Thursday. Washington missed all of last week in concussion protocol but has been limited through two practices this week. If he is cleared to be a full participant in Friday's practice he should be available to Atlanta for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.

You can view Thursday's injury report below, and can check out the Falcons' and Panthers' entire weekly reports here.
