Falcons injury report: Billy Bowman Jr. added to list

Plus, Casey Washington does not participate in second consecutive practice.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — There weren't many changes to Atlanta's injury report from Wednesday's practice to Thursday's. Just one, but that one addition was notable.

Falcons' starting nickel Billy Bowman Jr. was added to the team's injury report Thursday with a shoulder injury. He was limited. He joins two other names on Atlanta's injury report who are also limited with shoulder injuries: Darnell Mooney and Drake London.

Fellow receiver Casey Washington did not participate for the second practice in a row. It's Washington's status that may be the biggest question mark at the moment based on league rules alone.

That's because the league's concussion protocol dictates a player in the protocol must be cleared for full football activity — including a full team practice — at least one day before a game in order to be eligible to play. So, Friday's injury and game report will be indicative of Washington's Sunday status.
