Atlanta Falcons inactives vs. Seattle Seahawks

The Falcons make a decision on James Pearce Jr., who was questionable with a back injury.

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Falcons have made a decision on edge rusher James Pearce Jr., who was originally listed as questionable for Sunday's game at home against the Seattle Seahawks. He is active and available for Atlanta

Pearce has recorded a sack in four consecutive games, bringing his season total to five and his quarterback hurries to a team-leading nine. His streak is tied with Ed Oliver for the second-longest active sack streak in the NFL.

This is good news for the Falcons as they are already without one of their other most impactful pass rushers in Brandon Dorlus, who leads the team with six sacks and is tied with Kaden Elliss for most tackles for a loss with nine.

The second-year defensive lineman has a groin injury and was ruled out Friday after missing practice all week. So, too, did receiver Drake London, who is still working through a PCL strain. This is the third consecutive game the Falcons have been without their No. 1 pass catcher.

In other inactives news, fellow receiver Casey Washington is a healthy scratch. This is the third game in which the former draft pick for the Falcons has been a healthy scratch. However, receiver and core special teams contributor KhaDarel Hodge is active for Atlanta after joining Washington on the inactives list last week as a healthy scratch.

As a reminder: The Falcons did not need to note safety DeMarcco Hellams as an inactive because they placed him on injured reserve Saturday, and signed wide receiver Deven Thompkins from the practice squad to fill the vacant roster spot.
