FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons return home to Mercedes-Benz Stadium for their final game of the 2024 regular season.
The NFL announced recently that the game between the Falcons and Carolina Panthers will take place on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. It will be broadcast on CBS.
Atlanta will once again need a little help to reach the postseason after losing a tight overtime game to the Washington Commanders. That leaves the Falcons in the uncomfortable position of rooting for their most hated rival, who we don't have to name here, to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 18. A Tampa Bay loss, coupled with an Atlanta win, puts the Falcons into the playoffs. Ultimately, though, the Falcons are focused on controlling the outcome of their game, and the rest of the chips will fall where they may.
