5 things to know about new Falcons' guard Jamon Brown 

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – In addition to James Carpenter, the Falcons also signed another guard with starting experience Wednesday and that's Jamon Brown.

Brown was signed by the New York Giants in early October of the 2018 season after being waived by the Rams. He was named the Giants' starting right guard for the remainder of the season and his impact was noticed right away. The Giants rushed for 5.0 yards per carry and averaged 128 yards per game in the second half of the season with Brown starting.

Brown has his own foundation called the Jamon Brown Foundation that helps those in need. He loves giving back in his hometown of Louisville, Ky.

4. Mr. Durable

During his years at Louisville, Brown was voted "Most Durable" on his team. Since 2015 when he was drafted by the Rams, he's started 38 of 50 games.
