FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons are re-signing defensive lineman Ta'Quon Graham, according to a report by CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones.

Graham reportedly agreed to a one-year deal.

The Falcons drafted Graham in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft with the 148th overall pick.

Since then, Graham has played 49 games across all four seasons. He has made 16 starts, though none during the 2024 season. Graham has made 84 tackles in his career, four of which were for a loss, along with a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Graham's sole sack came in 2023 during the Falcons' Week 15 loss to the Carolina Panthers, taking down quarterback Bryce Young.

Graham is 26 years old, stands at 6-foot-4 and weighs 307 yards. Graham was touted as a draft prospect out of Texas because of his athletic build and elite arm length. New defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich values length in his players, and Graham's ability to play multiple spots on the defensive line will be important for presenting multiple looks.

He returns to a position group that contains Zach Harrison, David Onyemata, Brandon Dorlus and Ruke Orhorhoro. The Falcons have reportedly lost veterans Grady Jarrett to the Chicago Bears and Eddie Goldman to the Washington Commanders in free agency already. With the loss of Jarrett, Atlanta's defense may rely on Graham more frequently in the rotation.

Falcons defensive linemen Demone Harris and James Smith-Williams became free agents when the new league year officially began Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET.
