Matt Ryan throws 300th career touchdown pass, ties John Elway for 11th-most all-time

In only the second game of the 2019 season, Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan continued his run at NFL history.

During the fourth quarter of the Falcons' prime-time matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, Ryan tossed his third touchdown pass of the night - a game-winner to Julio Jones - and became just the 12th quarterback ever to throw for 300 career touchdown passes.

Ryan was 27-of-43 on Sunday night and threw for 320 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions. The former NFL MVP passed Carson Palmer in Atlanta's final game of 2018 to move to 12th on the all-time passing touchdowns list, and he is now tied with John Elway at No. 11.
