Johnson Returns With One-Year Deal

The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have signed offensive lineman Mike Johnson to a one-year contract extension. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Johnson, 6-6, 304 pounds, was selected by the Falcons in the third round (98th overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft out of Alabama. He has played in 18 games with one start during his four seasons in Atlanta. Johnson saw his most extensive action in 2012, playing in all 16 games with one start. He caught his first career touchdown at New Orleans (11/11/12) on a one-yard pass from QB Matt Ryan.
