Falcons Trim Roster Further, Waive DE Massaquoi

The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have waived defensive end Jonathan Massaquoi.

Massaquoi, 6-5, 264 pounds, was selected by the Falcons in the fifth round (164th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft out of Troy. He played in 39 games with seven starts and totaled 60 tackles (42 solo), six sacks, and two passes defensed.

The Falcons also cut ties with WR Harry Douglas and veteran G Justin Blalock on Friday
