Falcons Sign LB Reynolds, T Compton

The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have signed tackle Tom Compton and linebacker LaRoy Reynolds.

Compton, 6-5, 308 pounds, was originally selected by the Washington Redskins in the sixth round (193rd overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft out of South Dakota. He played in 44 games with 10 starts during his four years in Washington. Last season, Compton played in 13 games with one start and helped block for an offense that averaged 255.9 passing yards per game.

Reynolds, 6-1, 240 pounds, was originally signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as a college free agent following the 2013 NFL Draft out of Virginia. He played in 30 games with three starts for the Jaguars and recorded 38 total tackles (28 solo). Reynolds was signed by the Bears in 2015 and played in 13 games with one start for the Bears this past season, while recording 12 total tackles (11 solo).
