DeCoud Agrees to Terms

The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have agreed to terms with safety Thomas DeCoud.

DeCoud, 6-0, 192 pounds, was originally selected by the Falcons in the third round (98th overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft. In four seasons in Atlanta, he has started 47 of 58 games, totaling 335 tackles (219 solo), two sacks, eight interceptions, four forced fumbles and 19 passes defensed.

In 2011, DeCoud ranked third on the team with 109 tackles (76 solo), seven passes defensed and a career-high four interceptions, including three which came in the endzone, at Tampa Bay (9/25), at Seattle (10/2), and vs. Carolina (10/16).
