Bryant Out with Right Quad Injury

The Atlanta Falcons will spend this week, including Thanksgiving Day, preparing for their upcoming game against the Minnesota Vikings. Check out these pictures of the Falcons at work in Week 12.

Dan Quinn opened his press conference by announcing that kicker Matt Bryant injured his quad in practice on Wednesday and wouldn't practice on Thursday.

Quinn also provided an update on RB Devonta Freeman and his progression as he goes through concussion protocol. "He's getting better, but we really have to trust the process that we go through to get him ready," Quinn said of Freeman. "As he's going through it, we aren't there yet."

Freeman did not participate on Thursday and Quinn said that the team is preparing to be without the services of Freeman on Sunday against the Vikings.

Leonard Hankerson was the other Falcon to not practice as he continues to be sidelined with a lingering hamstring issue. Quinn said they would take the wide receiver through one more day, before making a decision if he will be able to play on Sunday.

CB Robert Alford (groin), G Andy Levitre (knee), S Robenson Therezie (hamstring) were all limited for the second day in a row.
