Head coach Mike Smith hoped that offensive tackle Jake Matthews would be able to test his ankle out Friday, but the prognosis wasn't positive for Sunday's game at Cincinnati as Smith announced Matthews has been ruled out of the game.
The likely replacement for him at the left tackle position will be Gabe Carimi.
Smith also said that Roddy White (knee) will be listed as probable when the Falcons official injury report is released today.
