Falcons release first unofficial depth chart of the 2017 regular season

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- As the Falcons begin preparations for the Chicago Bears, the team has released its first unofficial depth chartof the regular season.

Not much has changed from the preseason unofficial depth chart in regards to the starting lineup other than Wes Schweitzer being named the starting right guard over Ben Garland.

Wide receiver Taylor Gabriel is now listed as the backup punt returner behind Andre Roberts.

New additions Ty Sambrailo and Austin Pasztor are listed as the backups to starting tackles Jake Matthews and Ryan Schraeder.

Rookie tight end Eric Saubert won the No. 3 tight end spot over Joshua Perkins, who was waived over the weekend. First-year running back Brian Hill is the team's fourth running back, behind Devonta Freeman, Tevin Coleman and Terron Ward.

From the top of the depth chart to the bottom, general manager Thomas Dimitroff believes Atlanta's roster is "one of the most impressive" he's had during his tenure.

"We've talked all offseason about this being one of the most impressive rosters we've had here," Dimitroff said.
